Campbell’s Flowers is one of the oldest and largest floral outlets in the state of Colorado. Our flagship location at 927 Claremont Ave. has been selling floral related products since the late 1890s! We began our journey as Fleischer’s House of Flowers with a single glass greenhouse and a very small store front. The Fleischer’s lived on site and produced all of the cut flowers that they sold.
In 1956, the Campbell’s Brothers, Fred and Jim bought the business from the Fleischer’s. They changed the name to Campbell’s Flowers & Greenhouses and spent the next 21 years building out infrastructures to handle the growing demand of both floral and garden products.
In 1977 the Campbell’s sold the business to Gary and Mardi Stanifer. Within a few years it was obvious that more space was needed, so they opened our Elizabeth St. location in 1982. Then again in 2004 opened a third location on the far end of Northern Ave. In 2010 Gary Stanifer sold the business to his son Zachary Stanifer who is our present owner and general manager.
Our success through the years has been a direct result of an undying commitment to leave our customers satisfied. We currently maintain over 50,000 square feet of on-site heated greenhouse growing space, with which we annually produce over 500,000 plants including seasonal blooming plants, foliage plants, bedding plants,
perennials and woody ornamentals. We have over 1,000 square feet of refrigerated walk-in coolers for cut flower storage.
Our design staff has a combined average of 16 years of design experience. We regularly attend industry sponsored events to keep up with the latest design trends.
In 2012 we processed over 43,000 transactions over the course of the year! We are growing and shaping our business to better meet the future demands of our wonderful customers. If you have not yet experienced the Campbell’s difference, we would highly encourage you to do so.
We are family owned and operated with three locations serving the entire Pueblo area.
