In 2016, we took our little slice of SoHo uptown, next to the iconic Blakely Hotel on 55th Street. Black Tap Midtown features chromatic street art by famed visual artist Bradley Theodore, including a portrait of Marilyn Monroe in our semi-private "Marilyn Room." Black Tap Midtown accommodates 100 guests seated and 126 guests standing. We're undergoing extensive renovations to make this location as accessible as the space will allow, including an accessible entrance from the street level to the restaurant. Also in the works: accessible paths of travel within the restaurant, connecting the upper level dining area to the lower level dining area, accessible seating locations at both levels of the restaurant, and an accessible restroom within the restaurant. We currently have accessible seating in the lower level dining area, which may be accessed through The Blakely Hotel if you are unable to climb stairs. The Blakely Hotel entry has a portable ramp that provides an accessible route to our lower level dining area. Hotel staff is ready, willing, and able to assist our guests in getting into our dining room, as well as the accessible restroom on the 2nd floor of the hotel. You may request a key card from one of our team members for access.
