Dr. Cambre received his undergraduate degree in human biology from Stanford University in Stanford, California, and his medical education at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Colorado. Dr. Cambre completed a fellowship in burn surgery and critical care at the Cornell campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and completed his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles.
In addition to owning and operating his own private practice, Dr. Cambre is affiliated with several hospitals in the area including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center St. Vincent Medical Center, and Los Angeles County / Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Cambre also teaches future plastic and reconstructive surgeons as a clinical associate professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He has been honored by his students and peers to have received the prestigious Clinical Faculty Teaching Award in 2008, 2012, and 2015.
