I bought a car from the shops owner Rich a year ago. On my way home, the check engine light came on. Then not even a month later, the car blew a head gasket. I took it to Rich to fix, which I had assumed he did everything correctly. The check engine light never got fixed, he was trying to use shitty parts off an older car to fix it, which ended up not being the issue anyways (turned out it was a sensor issue). Since then, I've continued to have overheating issues, so I took it into a Carr Subaru dealership. Come to find out that when my car was last at Rich's shop, they left a ton of bolts and nuts loose. Subaru's technician said it seemed like they were all just hand tightened. On top of that, Rich was also supposed to have taken care of an oil leak issue, but the leak was still there after he supposedly worked on it. I am not at all confident in his skills as a mechanic, he seems to cut corners every which way he can. Also, Rich himself does not have a very business like demeanor. Made me feel like I was an idiot and he knew everything. Would not recommend using his shop for anything unless you want it done half-assed.
