For over twenty years, Dr. Jeffrey Ogden, an Internal Medicine specialist, has been diagnosing and treating the residents of the greater Utah County area. Dr. Ogden addresses many types of illness such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure (hypertension), obesity, and hormonal dysfunction (thyroid, testosterone, and estrogens). He focuses on the prevention of disease and the preservation of optimal health.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Ogden treats everything from pneumonia and bronchitis to osteoporosis and high blood pressure. Dr. Ogden is recognized as “Best-In-State” in performing Annual Physical Examinations and coordinates care with your specialist during your inpatient stay at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, American Fork Hospital, Mountain Point Medical Center, and Timpanogos Regional Hospital.
Dr. Ogden is originally from Oakland, CA. He has lived in Las Vegas, NV, Salt Lake City, UT, West Jordan, UT, Los Angeles, CA, and Kenai, Alaska.
He attended BYU as a Freshman in 1978 then traveled to Los Angeles on a Spanish speaking mission for the LDS church, where he met his future wife. Dr. and Mrs. Ogden are proud parents to seven children (5 girls and 2 boys).
Dr. Ogden graduated from the University of Southern California Medical School in 1990 and completed his residency at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach in 1993. He has been in private practice in Orem, UT since that time.
Dr. Ogden is board certified in Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is an active member of the Utah Medical Association and Utah County Medical Society. He served as a delegate to the annual House of Delegates of the Utah Medical Association and serves as the Association’s ACO Quality Director in 2018.
