What is the mystery in finding a reasonable pet groomer? Southern Nevada lacks 5 star customer service in Pet Grooming. They see the pets like things, instead of living creatures. The groomers do what it wants, instead of what it's pet owner is requesting. While, NO! Pet Groomer in Vegas knows or practices quality customer service. I always given them more, then one chance. I have a Westie mix & Poodle (miniature). I hardly request the same styles of grooming, other then, the main areas: face, eyes, ears (inside), mouth (around), feet (poodle feet), potty areas, top knot & tail (poodle). I made an appointment with Barks & Bubbles Dog Grooming the week before, of the appointment. When arriving to the appointment, came to find out that they had relocated. Barks & Bubbles Dog Grooming never informed me. Thanks to the gas station near the old location, I knew where they relocated. Thankfully, I've arrived on time, Stephanie, was the assigned groomer. Her demeanor towards me was not very welcoming. However trying to be the bigger person, I ignore it, as a sign of peace. I then proceeded to explain what I wanted, a bath & tidy, ears, face, mouth, feet, potty areas & with my poodle the belly & top knot. I was not disrespectful towards the groomer, as I explain what I wanted groomed. About couple of hours after, give or take. I notice a missed call 20 minutes with in being called, I called back. I was told they were ready. They call pretty early, (from what I am custom to) not necessarily bad, if it would of worked out. However I, didn't have a good feeling, but was hoping to be wrong. When I arrived, Stephanie the groomer was with another Pet owner. Stephanie had a pleasant demeanor with Caucasian pet owner. Something I, never felt with me (non-Caucasian/diverse). Both of my dogs, weren't given a bath, Poodle wasn't groomed in one potty area and the belly. Westie mix wasn't groomed inside her ears, around mouth, in between her paws & potty areas. Before living the parking lot, I went back and told her to groomed her around mouth. Stephanie stated she misunderstood me. Took my westie to her station of work, scissor some of the fur around mouth, she brings my westie mix back. Still not what I asked for. Plus, Stephanie demeanor towards me was still lacking customer service, passive aggressive. I paid the cost of their services, plus the diplomatic obligatory tip. I had to somewhat, with in my possibilities fished the job I paid them for, plus tipped them.

I called the next morning and Heidi the owner was surprisingly out of town. Therefore, I spoke with receptionist, she was NO help, all she did was justified Stephanie. Receptionist stated that groomer, had somewhat of a hand injured, from grooming previous pet, which didn’t allow her to perform her job with my pets. No apology, No understanding, Barks & Bubbles Dog Grooming made me feel, like my business is not welcome, yet they didn't mind taking my money. Please, Please be advice, if you are not a privileged Caucasian, you risk being mistreated, as well as your pet(s).
