Brian and Madalyn were able to explain Asset Based LTC in a manner that was easily understood. It made a lot of financial sense and I am comforted knowing that my estate will be protected.

My wife and I attended an afternoon class regarding asset based LTC insurance. Brian and Madalyn were very helpful and patient with us regarding the many questions that we had. While we did not purchase a plan at that time, we connected a few times with more questions, as this is a very important commitment and we really wanted to be sure that this was the correct way for us to go. At no time did we ever feel pressure to make this happen....everything was on our time. When we did sign the papers we were very confident that we had made the right decision regarding the type of LTC insurance and that working with Brian and Madalyn at 525 was also the right decision.

I decided to buy long term care insurance after years of financial and mental stress of my late husband's stay in nursing home. I talked with 525, they designed a plan that fits my budget and my needs. I am now have peace of mind that I know I won't give financial burden to my care givers when I am old.

Brian and Madalyn were great to work with. My wife and I do not move fast on important decisions and they were very paitent with us as we did reasearch on our own. In fact it was about a 3 month period for us. Overall Brian spent about 4 hours on the phone and in person answering our questions and helping us design a plan that we felt fit our needs and payment format. Not once did Brian and Madalyn ever push for a decision or try to sell. They presented suggestions listen to our feedback. We also attended two classes. Don't be afraid to work with them and talk with them and find some security in this overlooked part of aging.

Brian and Madalyn were great to work with. They are both very knowledgeable about long term care and shared their own experiences that helped illustrate the benefits of the plans. They were always responsive and answered all of our many questions. We appreciated the fact that there was never any pressure to make a decision on any timeline but our own. They helped us find a plan that was the right fit for us.

Brian and Madalyn have the unique experience of personally understanding the emotional journey a family takes when a loved one becomes compromised by health deterioration and must be cared for state-sponsored or private health care professionals. Couple that with the strains a family must cope with trying to balance the level of compassionate care within an often-times limited amount of assets, its a daunting task for all involved. Both of them are great listeners and provided my wife and me with a variety of options that would make us happy if we were to become compromised by poor health over the next 2 decades and would be affordable to us in today's dollars. We opted for the asset-based plan since we aren't sure we'll ever need to trigger the benefits of the coverage but wanted to provide us and our family the peace-of-mind that its available if necessary. And if not, then our estate will receive back the assets we used to purchase the plan plus interest. The follow-up Brian and Madalyn provided was courteous/professional and prompted us to make the thoughtful decision we needed for our situation.

Remembering that "perfect health" is just the slowest rate at which you can die, there is a point where you both accept your own mortality. Just visit a skilled nursing facility (boom!). "525 Long Term Care" presents two exceptional people who deliver knowledge through people skills. The reality of long term care and its costs are staggering, especially if your spouse is unable or unavailable to provide care. They patiently described an all too common situation where savings were eliminated. Options were presented and the best package was identified. The costs stretched us while at the same time calmed us knowing our final years will be supported.

Working with Brian and Madalyn at 525 Long Term Care was a satisfying experience for my wife and I. I had a general idea of what type of plan we would be interested in and Brian discussed the different options and concluded that he believed the best option for our situation was the one I had been leaning toward. Brian is very knowledgeable of the Long Term Care field and spent all the necessary time to answer all my questions so I could feel confident I knew exactly how everything came into play for this part of our retirement planning. Madalyn was very helpful in following up with all the parties involved to make the process of finalizing our coverage very easy for us. I would definitely recommend 525 Long Term Care to anyone considering this type of coverage in their retirement planning.

525 Advisors guided us to a plan that fit our needs exactly. Our plan is structured to match our obligations regarding Minimum Required Distributions from my IRA and it provides an adequate amount of financial protection in case either my wife or I (or both) need long-term care, even for a very long time. I like the fact that if the face value of our policy is not used in LTC expenses, the remainder is returned to our estate upon death. Brian Ott and his staff were kind and very attentive to our questions and briefed us on every step in the process of finalizing the policy, and afterwards. We always felt we were in the hands of competent professionals who sought to understand our situation and had our best interest at heart.
