The Gardens of Boca Raton were nearly 1½ hrs late in bringing my fathers casket to his military funeral on May 30, 2023. There is no excuse to put my father’s remains, his wife, children, grandchildren, friends, Honor Guard, Patriot Guard Riders, and military personnel through this. I had been told that my dad was at a morgue in the same town as the National Cemetery. My brother called The Gardens of Boca Raton and they said they were in traffic (the funeral home wasn’t that far away either and should always make time for traffic). We were told the CEO Garrett Jacobs was at a doctors appointment and unreachable. There were other funerals after us that were most likely held up as well because it is a veterans cemetery. The VA perform funerals every fifteen minutes. The Patriot Guard was there to escort my dad to the ceremony and we were supposed to follow behind the hearse. We all had to wait where the ceremony was to be held instead of accompanying my dad. We were told the eulogy could only be one minute long because they still hadn’t shown up. It was a devastating 1½ hr wait. I can only imagine how many military families were indirectly impacted by their failure to bring my father's remains to his military service burial on time. No family should ever have to go through this.

Ring from out of town and suddenly faced with who to call and how to deal with the wishes of my mother to be cremated . I so fortunately picked the very Best. Before this cremation was not on my mind. Now I highly recommend speaking to them. They are caring compassionate and I felt like they were family. I can only say that it was a wonderful caring experience with not such a great time
