At 5 pm on June 17th, the corpulent fella that works in the lizard section was working on his day off.
How would I know?
I was passing by. This isn’t my usual pet store. I was looking for new guppies.
I didn’t see any female guppies. I was looking for them I noticed some of the males had “tail droop” (can be high ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites in the water or underlying diseases, such as Scoliosis and Tuberculosis)
I waited for over 40 minutes while I watched the lizard guy sit on product that was stacked in the isle waiting for shelve stocking.
He saw me right away. He was talking to some people about Lizards. At about 20 minutes he asked me if I need something, I said Id like to by some fish. He said OK. Called for help and went back to the lizards.
After another 20 minutes, I asked he if he called for help and he yelled “I’m here working on my day off!” He was upset, but not so much to as to actually stand up.
As I walked through the store, it became apparent that no one was not really in charge.
I left and looked for a manager. There wasn’t one. The woman I talked to said that they were all ‘kind of’ managers on duty.
I should have stuck with “Pet Supplies Plus,” 15530 W 64th Ave Unit Q, where they appreciate your business.
