Guys were called to take care of several things, two of which were recaulking around my tub, and figuring out why my toilet insisted on flushing itself. Long story short: caught them "finishing" my new toilet install by filling at least AN INCH WIDE GAP between the toilet and the floor with ungodly amounts of globbed-up caulk. Recaulk of tub was absolutely shameful: caulk not adhered to tile in corner, piled up, and not smoothed out at all. Toilet issue finally resolved - or, I guess so - not real confident about that. Was supposed to recaulk tub, as guy admitted it was awful, but left without doing so. Was told it was because Home Depot was "sold out of the tool he needed to make it smooth." Oh, and they found several dollars worth of change under my old toilet that had apparently been used to level the toilet previously, and they took the change with them when they left. Amount not important, just not a professional, or decent, thing to do. Left old toilet out in my front yard - bulk won't be picked up here for two weeks. Called owner to explain issues and to have him come over and look at bathtub caulk, which I was told he or the co-owner would do. It is now 11:30 P.M. and no call or visit. I'm out over 800 dollars, don't know if new toilet is installed properly, there's a toilet in my front yard, and the caulk around my tub looks like sh-t. I am absolutely appalled by what went on here today.
