We were slammed with a bill stating carpets last 8 years. I called the company they used directly, who told me 5-6 WITHOUT PETS, and 1-2 years WITH PETS. At move in, we were told carpets have a 2-3 year life. After living there for 3 and spending $100 on cleaning supplies in addition to 3 days with the assistance of 2 other adults, the fee of 4.5 hours billed to us is also ridiculous and unmerited. We were told that the record of an 8 year carpet life is in our agreement which is a blatant lie. There is no record of this. Perhaps the company should reevaluate pet permission. The company refuses to hear us out or come to a reasonable agreement.
